Kobalt 24V/48V Products with Lithium-Ion Batteries and USB-C Charging Functionality

Affected products include select Kobalt 24V/48V mowers, blowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, bristle brush, power cleaner kits, tool-only products, and standalone battery products.
Recall Date: July 2026

Charging the lithium-ion batteries through the USB-C port while the batteries are inserted in the yard power tools can cause the batteries to short-circuit, posing a risk of serious injury from fire hazard.

Please immediately stop charging batteries while they are inserted in the product. Batteries should be removed from the product before charging.
