In a recent product feature segment titled “Fall Gadgets,” leading technology expert Ariel Coro discussed the evolution of leaf blowers. He began with gas blowers, observing that “they polluted [and] their motor was noisy,” to which the co-host agreed. Then he described early electric blowers with troublesome cables. Finally, Ariel explained, advancements in lithium batteries had produced a new option which has no cord but runs at “full power.”

GreenWorks Tools is getting set to launch their new line of cordless yard care tools at the 2011 GIE+EXPO. This new line is going to offer the highest voltage in the industry. The new line combines Lithium Ion technology with high-efficiency motors to create the first cordless hand-held line with gas-comparable performance.
